BTS is no stranger to Recording Industry of America (RIAA) with 3 of their songs being certified GOLD in the past year.

On the most recent update of RIAA in November 9, BTS gets certified Gold for the single "IDOL", reaching this milestone in 77 days. The band also scores a Gold certification for the album "Love Yourself: Answer", which makes it their first ever album to do so. They are the first Korean artist to score a Gold Certification for an Album and the 1st Korean group to receive a Platinum certification for "MIC DROP". “MIC DROP” is now the 2nd song by a Korean artist to reach Platinum from the RIAA.
